Vahini Analyser · 20-factor handwriting analysis

Upload a handwriting sample

Add one clear, well-lit photo or scan of a handwritten page. The engine reads the text for you, measures the geometry of every letter, and scores all 20 factors.

Step 1 · Your sample

Not sure what to write or photograph? Read this first
1What to write

Write 4–6 full lines of normal joined or print handwriting on plain or ruled paper. A short paragraph beats a single word: the more real letters, words and lines, the more the 20 factors have to measure.

No idea what to write? Copy any of these:

  • “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs.” (every letter of the alphabet)
  • “The sun is bright today. We play in the green garden. Birds sing in the tall trees.” (easy primary practice)
  • A few lines from a book, a diary entry, or a letter to a friend, anything in your natural hand.
2Taking the photo
  • Fill the frame with the writing: get close, leave little background.
  • Flat & straight-on. Hold the phone parallel to the page, not at an angle (we auto-correct small tilt, but flat is best).
  • Even light, no shadow from your hand or phone across the page.
  • Sharp focus: tap the screen on the text before you shoot.
  • Plain or single-ruled paper; avoid busy grids or coloured backgrounds.
How Vahini reads your page, so the score makes sense:
  • Handwriting only. Printed text (a letterhead, a form's printed labels, a textbook line) is detected and left out of scoring; only your handwriting is measured.
  • English & Telugu / Hindi. The shape, spacing and neatness factors work on any script. The letter-by-letter and spelling checks are sharpest for English today; Indic scripts are supported and improving.
  • Always measured (any photo): size evenness, spacing, baseline, slant, loop closure, line straightness, neatness.
  • Read line-by-line when the words are recognised: spelling, punctuation, mixed cursive/print, stray capitals, repeated-letter consistency.
  • Needs the Battu pen: speed, pressure, pen-lifts and flow. A photo can only estimate these, so they are shown honestly as pen-pending.
